Collection: Marco Fontana

Marco Fontana was born in Sassuolo (MO) in 1968. Since childhood he has demonstrated a strong drawing ability, especially in the field of comics. He attended the Art Institute of Modena and, in his free afternoons, he collaborated with a famous cartoon production company - Bignardi Films - where, from 1983 to 1988, the RAI short films "Quark Economia" were made, signed by Bruno Bozzetto and “Mr. Bonaventura” by Sergio Tofano. In the same years he actively collaborated with the newspaper "Il Resto del Carlino", for which he created the Monday strips and cartoons, both for Modena and for the national edition. He also collaborates with several other local and national periodicals, with the Wondernonna series, also presented at Lucca Comics in 1991. He spends a long period of inactivity, during which he only creates spot work and dedicates himself to packaging design and advertising . In 2008 he resumed his activity as an artist and exhibited the erotic paintings of the Pop-Hard series in Ferrara, created with the enamel technique.  www.marco-fontana.com
