Description
The Annunciation was painted by Leonardo da Vinci in 1472, when he was only 20 years old.
In it, one clearly sees Leonardo's talent, but also a potential that is still to be realized. Concerning "Construction of Reality", it is interesting that Leonardo uses perspective with single vanishing point.
The Annunciation is the announcement of the Incarnation, that Mary would become pregnant to have Jesus, by the angel Gabriel to Mary (Luke1:26–38).
The Incarnation means that God assumed a human nature and became a man – Jesus.
